Free 2 Be Me represents the underdogs and the jocks, the geeks, the un-cool kids, straights/gays/transgendered, the disabled, the under/overweight, the mentally/physically ill, every culture, religion, lifestyle, ethnicity, the "goodie goodies", the outcasts, and anyone who feels like they are a little bit different. This is to remind people that everyone deserves to be whoever they were born to be and deserves to be loved equally without judgment, which is what our logo demonstrates, love and equality all in one.
We are free to be, and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. This site is here to provide a safe space for those who seek refuge. Being different doesn't have to mean segregation, separation, or degradation; it should mean acceptance, equality and love. We hope to break the cycle and want to provide tools, resources, real life testimonies, as well as a platform for people to share.
What initially started out as an idea for a tee shirt that read "I love my gay son" transpired into something much bigger. The intention of the shirt was to remind Ronnie that he is accepted by his family, and loved no matter what. What was once a simple idea for a family eventually turned into something much bigger. It was no longer about supporting one member of the family, but supporting everyone who struggles, no matter their sexual orientation. The intent of this company is to unite people as a whole, mend relationships, and remind others that they are not alone.
